Bronzo

Bronzo, a hyperactive boxer, had 2 problems; the first:

He was thought to have been bitten by a spider that caused a cavernous face wound. The wound was disinfected with Savlon and then at EQUILIBRATE'S,  suggestion was treated with Intrasite Gel.

 The Result!

The second problem was that the owner could not maintain his weight. EQUILIBRATE BENEFICIAL BUGS was added to his feed twice daily.

I have been using your Condition, Hoof and Flex (CHF) for over a year I think,

and I am very happy with it - it's nice to have a 'complete' supplement

with most things in one, so that I don't need to feed a hundred different supplements!

I think it is also well priced, has good packaging and is easily available

Merrylegs

Meet Merrylegs

Merrylegs is Violet (see Testimonials and Malnourished Horse), our rescue mare's filly foal born 8th December 2011. Merrylegs is named for the happy pony in Anna Sewell's classic Black Beauty. The inspiration for her name is owed to the book being given to me by mother for my tenth birthday. It was the first full length book that I read and has made a lasting impression upon me as evidenced by my profession, lifestyle and not least my mother's death a couple of years later. It is important that Merrylegs has a happy name and a hopeful future given her unfortunate beginnings. Unexpectedly and unusually Merrylegs is a Curly!Day 2 and learning to eat the green stuff

Her formulation is Equilibrate "Specifically Formulated for Mares and Foals" or COMPLETE

'Curlies are claimed to be the only hypoallergenic horse breed.
The unique genotype that gives Curlies their hypoallergenic property is best displayed while they are wearing their luxurious, thick, winter, curly coats. Their coats can be expressed in a varying degree of curl. Typically the coat in the summer shows a slight wave in it, but is curliest in the winter. All colours are acceptable, but chestnut is typical, as are white socks.

The Curly has a characteristically long stride 4 Monthscoupled with bold movement. They have tough hooves, strong bones and exceptional endurance. Most Curlies stand between 13.2 and 15.2 hands, though they can range in size from Miniature horses to Draft horses.
While eye catching and unusual in the show ring, Curlies also have the movement, endurance, and heart to excel in competition. Curlies have been shown at upper levels of dressage and show jumping. They have proven to be reliable mounts and patient teachers for the weekend competitor. Curlies are characteristically quiet, level headed horses, and make excellent first horses for supervised beginner riders and children. Curlies have also been used for combined driving, western riding, ranch horses, trail horses, and are even crossbred to gaited horses for saddle seat and trail extraordinaire mounts. The only sport which Curlies are not competitive in is horse racing.

Curlies are known for their calm, intelligent and friendly personalities.

They show an easily trainable temperament and are known for having a strong constitution and stamina. Most Curlies enjoy being around people, starting at birth. Curlies are typically not flighty, and they tend to possess more reasoning than most breeds. They are very reliable and have a great work ethic.

The origins of the Curly is one of the horse world’s mysteries! Research on its origin is still in progress.
Curly horses were documented in Asian artwork from 161 AD and Charles Darwin recorded curly horses in South America in the 1800s. The early Sioux Indians regarded curly horses as sacred mounts that were reserved for Chiefs and Medicine Men. Other early artwork, shows Curlies carrying warriors in the Battle of Little Bighorn (June 25, 1876).

What is known, is that the original stock used to start the current day Curly Horse registries can be traced back to the wild Mustang herds of Eureka, Nevada.
During the early 1900s, rancher John Damele and his sons managed to catch
one, break it to ride and sell it; thus starting their relationship with the breed'.

Franelzi Frans and Franelzi Ibn Ziyad

Elsie de Jager of Franelzi Arab Stud from Fouriesburg in Eastern Freestate.

Elsie has placed first and completed five times within the first ten In the prestigious Fauresmith International Endurance Ride!  Rated as one of the most challenging endurance rides in the world. Elsie has also represented the Free State Team.

Her chestnut is Franelzi Frans: Endurance horse now in his 3rd season.

"I ride him barefoot and has put him on CHF from the start. He did 680km BAREFOOT with no eliminations due to tender hooves or stiffness.
He is doing very well this season with a win on a very rocky and hard course and a 4th place so far".

The bay is "Franelzi Ibn Ziyador my breeding stallion. In 2010 he was covering mares at a stud farm where he became lame( and could hardly walk) in his right hind leg with severe swollen fetlock joint . Needless to say that he could not cover any more mares for that season. A vet also made a prognosis as to his incapability to be used as a breeding stallion in future due to the arthritic condition …………I started him on CHF . A year later and until now he is running around……..and I have several mares in foal!!!"

Violet

Meet the (no longer) shrinking Violet!

We met on the main street of the picturesque coastal village of Great Brak River. This little horse was pulling a cart piled high with wood and transporting two individuals. She was irresistible as you can see and so we soon arranged for her to relocate.

Her new res had extensive dining facilities and for two months all she was interested in was the food at her feet. In the third month a gradual and increasing awareness of her surroundings and sorority occurred. Our shrinking Violet was gradually expanding both her girth and her horizons.

Our debutante is still some months away before her full potential may be realized and may never be the ‘Belle of the Ball’, but we think that she is now ready for a public
appearance!
Ample grazing and Equilibrate's "Specifically Formulated for Mares and Foals" is the recipe together with a small quantity of straights.

Lothario, Owner: Di Williamson

27th January, 2010.Lothario_1

Hello Michaela,

Lochwood Lothario Lad is a 13 year old SAW Warmblood stallion by Lindenberg out of a Bambix mare.  I bred him and still am breeding the odd foal from his mum!

Lothario has been on Euililbrate’s Conditioning, Hoof and Flex for about 6 months now – a little background information will tell you how thrilled I am with your product!

On receiving your product, I asked my farrier to tell me when he saw a difference in Lothario’s feet – he said it would take about 3 – 4 months to see anything – if it was any good.  Well, at the next shoeing, he came up to my house and informed me that there was a marked improvement in the growth and it was very noticeable – he was amazed.

Lothario’s rider, about 4-5 weeks after  starting the supplement, asked me what I was doing to my horse – I asked what he meant and he then told me that he had been noticing that he was so much softer through the back and lighter on his feet and felt fantastic!  What more can you ask for in a supplement!  His latest show he got a 1st and a 2nd – he looked like a ribbon in the wind!

I then asked you if I could help sell your products and have since put my 3 year old gelding and my wonderful 17 year old broodmare onto your products!  Not only the horses are on your supplements – I have discovered that the MSM/Glucosomine  is wonderful for my aging aches and pains – I feel 10 years younger!

Thanks Michaela, for the success of your supplements with my family and I have had some great feedback from some of my clients in Gauteng!

Regards,

Di Williamson

Fleurette is certainly looking much better generally, getting muscles in the right places, her eye is bright and she is more interested in what is going on.  Her coat has improved, although she still has her bald patches and we are getting lots of compliments about her. (JMc Wolverhampton)

HW, Manchester

Cara is doing great with the bromide, no more hunting around for  spat out capsules! It has to be nicer to have the medicine well  mixed in than to come across lumps of it.(HW, Manchester)

MC Kent

I'm very impressed with the service you provide. Why didn't someone think of the idea of bespoke supplements before?

For years I've been using a combination of supplements.

Your approach makes my life easier and it is no more expensive than buying a range of supplements. (MC Kent)

Christene

Hi Michaela

I felt I had to send you an email and update you on the condition of my horses - they are looking, feeling and performing really well after the change to Equilibrate.

Southern_Gift
christene1

I haven't been needing to feed them nearly as much as I used to and this is during our season of no rain or grass! Their current diet is as follows:

They are both working 5-6 days a week and feel fit, energetic and eager to work. At this stage I feel everything is in a good balance and the results are showing it. In our last show alone we accumulated 8 points and had a 2nd and a 4th, knocking no poles in 3 classes. Forte` has never been this muscular or looked this healthy and certainly never worked so well. We are nearly at the stage where I will feel comfortable upgrading her to the 1.10m classes which I didn't think would happen so soon. I am quite certain Equilibrate has played an important role in our success!

As far as my pony Southern Gift is concerned - WOW! We struggled for almost a year trying to get her body recovered from her pregnancy and only did things change when we started her on Equilibrate. Suddenly she has this incredible muscle mass and gleam in her eye! I'll send through some pics in a second email.

Congrats on creating a winning formula - whatever you are doing is really working.

Christine

Pauline Avellini

Hi Michaela,

Pauline AvelliniWith all the changes I have made to his diet and including the supplements, I am very happy to say there is a definite improvement. He still has a lot of energy but without all the fizz! His spooks have been less severe. I will definitely continue with your supplements as his coughing and nasal secretions have also improved tremendously! Thanks again for your assistance and I will let you know how it goes over the next 2-3 weeks when we are back into work.
